Port d’Alcúdia is the fastest growing port in terms of passenger numbers

“The port of Alcúdia leads the annual growth in the number of passengers in the total number of ports of the Islands, according to the data provided by the annual report of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands.

The recently published data show eloquent results. The five ports of the community have had a total of 8.9 million passengers, which represents 8% more than in 2017. Of this total, some six and a half million correspond to regular line users and almost two and a half million to cruise passengers. Although the general trend is upwards, it is worth noting that one port, Mahón, has decreased by 11%, while Palma has grown by a significant 17%. On the other hand, La Savina and Eivissa grew more modestly, by 4% and 2% respectively.

Among these figures is the spectacular increase in passengers at the port of Alcúdia, which has seen its users increase by 32%. The reason would be the start-up of the regular line with the French city of Toulon…”.
